Welcome to my site! If you are a reader of Young Adult Fantasy, a fan of history, science, mythology, and legendary creatures, or maps, then you’ve come to the right place. I’ve created two different series written for young adults and the young at heart.
Misaligned is an award winning series that combines the Welsh origins of Arthurian legend with String Theory in a small upstate New York town. The series features Penny Preston, a gifted 13-year old girl with the ability to see and interact with beings from higher dimensions – she’s misaligned. More detailed descriptions of each book as well as a review can be found under the Misaligned tab.
The Warders is an award winning high fantasy take on a James Bond-like adventure where magic and monsters take the place of technological gadgets and super-villains. The series features agents from various fantasy races working in a secret organization to protect the small kingdom of Eridan. A short synopsis and review for each story can be found under the Warders tab.
In addition to my books the site also features my blog. The theme for my blog is ‘A Mind that Wonders Often Wanders.’ As such my past posts range from speculation about number theory, science, and history to thoughts about the craft of writing and being an author with a small press. It includes a numerous posts (known as Map Monday), featuring an interesting map and illuminating commentary from me. There are also a half-dozen or so interviews with fellow authors. If you’re an author and are interested in being featured, I’d be more than happy to add you to the list. Most of the posts are original, but I’m not against sharing the good ideas of others. My latest posts are under Armen’s Blog tab. Take a look and if something catches your interest, please follow along.
The News & Events tab, provides updates for new releases and lists any scheduled book signings, presentations, or other activities. It also includes links to interviews and author features I’ve done over the last several years. If you’d like to schedule an event, interview me, or feature me on your blog, please contact me directly. My rates are unbeatable.
From time to time, which means far less often than I’d like, I also post reviews for books I’ve read. Like my blog they cross a broad spectrum, but most are either by fellow indie/small press authors or are about helping such authors. While you can find some of my older reviews within my blog, all of them are available under the My Reviews tab, which also includes a link to purchase the reviewed book from Amazon.
That brings me to the last tab, Where to Purchase tab. It’s a convenient page giving you one click access to all of my books through all major online retailers as well as directly from my publisher. The latter never costs more and occasionally costs less. In addition to putting a few extra pennies into my pocket you can spend your savings on a second book.
